Long held in place by an ancient seal, the dragons of Forbidden Temple Arena have finally awakened from their slumber. As the two resume their eternal battle, these legendary beasts have left a treasure trove of elemental items in their wake.

A basic rocket pass
While dragons can claim the heavens above, the arena is ruled by a different race of beast. Forged from the elements, the emperor muscle car comes to rocket league with four different versions! The basic car is immediately available with Rocket Pass Premiumand working through the levels will unlock the upgrade Emperor II.
Two more versions of the Special Edition will be available in Pro Tiers. Emperor II: frozen brings relaxing vibes to your sweatiest matches, or you can light up the arena with Emperor II: Burnt. All versions of Emperor will use the Escape hitbox and are available in Rocket Pass Premium.
Once you get the new car, you’ll need items to go with it! fans of the interstellar decal will be struck by the constellation inspired Constellation Decal, while the fire and ice theme continues with two sets of special-edition wheels. Equip it Piercer: Crystallized Wheels freeze the competition, or slip into the Precursor: roasted wheels for your next barn burner.
Missed the Dragon Banner 2017 season rewards? You’ll have another chance to feed your dragon side with the ice dragon and Fire Drake Player Banners.
Those who venture into Rocket Pass Pro Tiers can earn two new Goal Blasts. Unleash the fury of fire with the Brimstone Lens Explosion at level 95, or unlock the Explosion of Ice Age Goals at level 115 to freeze the world. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg, just like season 5 Cosmos Lens Explosionboth of these effects will spread throughout the arena, briefly covering the field in fire or ice each time you score!
Play with fire, break the ice
We finally found out why the Forbidden Temple is so, well… forbidden. With both dragons unleashed, the once lush arena was transformed into a wasteland of permafrost and molten lava. Despite the damage, Forbidden temple (fire and ice) seems like the perfect place for a friendly game of Soccar!
Tournament Rewards
This season’s tournament rewards really bring the heat. Leave a trail of flames behind you with the burnt trail and Fireball boost. But first you’ll need something to burn, and the Oil can antenna has all the fuel you will need.
For the lucky ones, this season’s Black Market rewards bring out the fiery side of the competition. Light up the night with an incendiary Gunshot Goal Explosionor tap into something monstrous with the Stealthy Scalean animated decal that mixes shimmering crystal with the scales of a dragon.
Secrets of the Temple
After the devastation of the temple grounds, we discovered several ancient tomes among the rubble. Their true meaning has yet to be revealed, but so far we have deciphered two short messages: frosty party will bring extremely cold vibrations, and neon nights returns with the hottest beats ever! Our trained Psyonix archaeologists will be back soon with more information.
The end of the season also means that Season 8 Tournament Credits will be reset. Players who participated in competitive tournaments during Season 8 will receive an All-Star Cup award. Unspent Tournament Credits will be converted to the highest tier reward a player is eligible to earn based on their Tournament Rank and Tournament Credit amount. This conversion will happen automatically the first time you log into Season 9.
